About Us
Sparklers Playgroup meets on Thursday mornings during the school term from 9.30 to 11.30am in the hall at Charlestown Presbyterian Church (behind the church building).
The program outline each week is:
- 9.30am – Free play, simple craft
- 10.00am – Story/song followed by morning tea
- 10.15am – Craft, free play
- 11.15am – pack-up by mums/carers
- 11.30am – finish
Morning tea for mums is organised on a shared roster basis made up each term. Children are to have their own morning tea brought in. Birthdays are celebrated for each child on the week of their special day.
The cost is $3/child/week or $4/family/week.
Over the year we also enjoy theme days and social gatherings – lots of fun to enjoy all together!
Charlestown Presbyterian Church is located at 16 Smart St, Charlestown opposite the council carpark in Smart St. Parking is available to those attending playgroup in an adjacent lot owned by the church at 23 Smith St.
